The Technology Centre services 1,379 pupils each week from 28 schools in Canterbury including Governors Bay, Mairehau, Diamond Harbour and Opawa. It is the largest Technology Centre in Christchurch, running 8 workshops including Electronics, Food and Nutrition and Cooking, Metal Technology, Fabrics, Wood Technology and Plastics. |
The School is also a base for three SLS (Supplementary Learning Support) teachers who assist 10 schools and service 24 pupils with high special needs.
SWIS (Social Worker in Schools) is based at the school and services 3 schools including Phillipstown.
The schools grass field is available and used for parking for AMI Stadium events. |
